Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabrication FAQ

When should I choose stainless steel over mild steel?

Stainless steel is the better choice for corrosion-prone environments, high-traffic public spaces, food-service applications, and when a raw metal finish is desired. Mild steel with powder coating is more cost-effective for most outdoor applications in Colorado.

When should I choose aluminum?

Aluminum is ideal when weight is a concern, for outdoor structures exposed to weather, and for applications requiring corrosion resistance without the cost of stainless. It is lighter and easier to handle but not as strong as steel for structural applications.

Do you TIG weld stainless steel?

Yes. We TIG weld stainless steel for clean, precise welds on railings, panels, and custom components where appearance and corrosion resistance matter.
